Took me a bit to get the title down. Sometimes I can’t get that going until the end, especially for Kai but this one finally stepped into place. It’s a definite shift in his world and while for me, it was a brutal write, I still had fun with it. Both delicate and brutal. So… there we go and in the immortal words of the Foo Fighters…
Done, done and I’m on to the next one…
Kai 4 has been put to bed… but much like any troublesome child, he will be back for a drink of water and some grooming but for right now, he’s tucked in.
Still have a lot to do this weekend and hopefully it will go fast. But man, this book ripped me open and I am so glad I could bring it to a close.
I adore watching him prep seafood. I’ve learned a lot about different types of fish and really what’s edible and what’s not. Especially in puffer fish. This one has English CC, something he’s been trying to get done for all his vids.
I thought I’d take a break from navel gazing and just share some stuff. Because you know, navel gazing can lead to ulcers.

I also want to share the link to the latest Baumgartner Fine Art Restoration video. I haven’t watched it yet which is a crime because I usually watch them immediately but between travel and trying to hammer out the rest of this book, I’ve held off this video as a reward. It’s gonna be my chocolate twinkie! Which I still haven’t eaten but let’s face it, that’ll be there forever.
It’s been a crazy week and a half and I’m now in Daytona at Coastal Magic, listening to Tool and trying to finish a chapter. I skipped tonight’s events to get some work done but I did stage help Bru Baker get ready for her role in tonight’s Mystery Event where she’s one of the characters in a “murder” and the attendees get to guess who did it.
We are all hoping she’s the one who dies. Or is the killer. Because you know, if you can’t be the murderer, be the murdered.
I’m working my way through the Longmire books after having them on the shelf forever and a day then I’ll take a read thru JD Robb’s latest. I have been enjoying binging on mysteries and thrillers and I’ll be able to continue that until I hit upon a mystery I’m writing. So… I’ve got a bit.
