Eric Arvin’s The Rascal Blog Tour Stops Here… for Now!

Rascal Blog Tour Banner
Rhys’ Note: I first met Eric in person at the ABQ GRL. So many letters. Albuquerque GayRomLit. We met in passing and what I knew of Eric was through videos and chance meetings but one never ever forgets Eric Arvin. His personality is bigger than life and so is his writing. When the mention of a blog tour for his latest book, The Rascal, came about, I said… yes please. Let me spread the Word!

Because the Word of Arvin needs to be spread. Eric’s writing is glorious. Hands down, absolutely freaking glorious. You won’t get better horror and complexity than from Eric. Without a damned doubt. So, read the excerpt, enter the giveaway and go grab the book. You won’t regret it.

Giveaway:
Leave a relevant and thoughtful comment at each stop on the tour for a chance to win a $20 gift card. Tour organizers will select a winner at each stop on 25 October 2015. Must be 18 years or older to enter. Void where prohibited.

Lana is a faded movie star who lives alone in a big house on a hill that overlooks the sea.  She has lived this way since the death of her daughter and the disappearance  of her husband.

Jeff and Chloe are a couple who live in a cabin below the big house.  It was Chloe’s idea to strengthen their marriage; but she see’s now that it isn’t working.  Jeff has become obsessed with the cabin and the old water well.  Chloe only sees strangeness around her.

One night while talking on the computer with Ethan, Jeff’s brother, a feeling of dread comes to the fore.  When Ethan see’s a figure behind Chloe, he leaves his boyfriend and baby and sets out to save Jeff.

Chloe, Ethan and Lana come together to fight an evil that would destroy Jeff.  Will they succeed or will all of them fall to the taste of a young cannibalistic ghost? Continue reading “Eric Arvin’s The Rascal Blog Tour Stops Here… for Now!”

Sunday Morning Go For A Ride…

Soooo tired. Really.

Met up with a bunch of people whose names at nearly 2 am escape me. *grins* So hello and hugs to everyone I said hello and hugs to. There was a young (for me) male author who brought brownies and graciously allowed me to share a bit of his table with Clare London and another author… he had a book that looked interesting but he was off like the wind before I could look at it. So now I need to go hunt him down and see if I can find it.

I’ll let you know what it is. Damn my squirrel brain.

I have chapped lips because of the wind, cold and hot. So I am keeping dosed up with lip balm from everyone. The UK Meet is awesome and seriously, SO many lovely authors. Amber Kell let me bore her to death for a bit and well the Five are cutting a swath through the coffee bar.

It was so lovely to spend time with Elizabeth North, Lynn West and Hayley P. whose name I shall not try to spell when I’ve barely got a grip on English. And thankfully KC Wells had her bosom under control. She had a wild time of it.

What I need to do every con is just take pictures of everyone with their name tags so I have a record because I leave out everyone. And that’s crappy to do. Joy Myles is so damned lovely and Charlie Cochrane is the goddess of everything.

Kisses to Marieke, Rudi and Dani who kept me from breathing regularly.

Mostly I spent the days listening and being in a haze. 😀 Tomorrow is the last day and I’ll be better about keeping names straight.

To everyone who came by and said hi….thank you. Seriously, just thank you. You all shame me with your courtesy. Because I can’t even come close to being able to say thank you hard enough.

I have pictures. They will be shared.

Saturday! Saturday!

The Five are here. Well most of us. We’ll Skype in the last remaining Five sometime this week and we’ll all be together in some shape or form.

I have known these sisters of mine for over a decade, nearly two but this is the first time this many of us have been together. But we all know one another and it’s odd to be connected to people in this group… because it’s seamless.

Bristol is lovely and the hotel is great. It is now 1 am and I have to get up to get to shower and breakfast in six hours. The UK Meet begins tomorrow and people have already been socializing.

I highly recommend coming to this one if anyone is around and inclined.

There’s been no plotting of book but that will be on the horizon.

How is everyone doing? And what the heck is everyone reading?

Friday! Sort of.

Evening or rather morning,

I’m about to go crash for the night (it is now 1 am on Early Friday Morning) because it’s been a long day. I have some pix of the Bristol Cathedral which I should share and one of my breakfast. Go figure. Heh.

Today was spent with people and talking and just tomfoolery. The hotel is rather warm but my room is freezing. Go figure that as well.

Sadly, the Japanese Rugby team will be leaving tomorrow and some of them are a bit drunk because there is singing coming from next door. It’s stopped now but I was thinking…why am I hearing Japanese? Because I can’t seem to recall the huge, half-nekkid hot guys roaming the halls. Okay mostly they were dressed.

Off to bed and I’ll start blogging about the UK Meet tomorrow. Should head down early for breakfast and coffee. 😀 Because coffee.
