Eric is getting a new MRI to confirm that the hemangioma is gone from his brain stem. I am at home for the night, trying to rest up.
She hasn’t left my side since I got home. When I walked in the door, she was sleeping in his rocking chair.

First day after surgery and he is already trying to get me in trouble.

From TJ: Eric’s out of surgery. The Dr thinks he got all of the hemangioma off the brain stem. We won’t know what function he has retained until he wakes up over the next couple of days. But it seems to me that the doctor was optimistic.
He’s here though. That’s all that matters to me.
From TJ:
Eric is calm. He slept good last night. The surgery is expected to last about five hours and we probably won’t know anything until it’s finished. No worries if you don’t see an update from me for a while.
He said something this morning, drug induced of course.
“Oh no!”
“What?” I asked him.
And he said,”We forgot to tell everyone we’re getting married!”
I told him everyone already knew.
He smiled at that.
