Gus Gus Update.
Gus Gus is out of surgery, groggy and apparently hitting the nurses up for belly rubs.
They pulled 5 teeth, sent the lump on his chest in for testing (cancer is hovering in my brain and I’m hating it). They found a foxtail in his gums because he chews grass and I’ve called the lawn people to eradicate those from our back yard. No idea where the hell he got that from.
I really am hoping the lump is benign. ‘Cause you know, we just went through cancer with Neko and he’s still a young dog.
He’s going to have to wear a t-shirt because he likes to scratch his belly on the concrete…such a weirdo…and we can’t have him irritate the incision.

Miki won Fave Member of the Band with a whopping 64% of the votes.
Fave Couple goes to Miki & Kane, with 45% of the votes, Rafe & Quinn came in second with 26%. Forest & Connor gave them a run for the money, though, at 22%.

Motherfucking hell. Dude. Dudes. Fucking hell.
Such a damned good book.
This is seriously hands-down the tightest, well-written novels ever to slap itself awake and crawl out of Jordan L. Hawk’s complicated and wonderful mind. The range of characters, the world building… the goddamned worldbuilding… the weave into historical events and the laying down of the simplest of details enrich every damned pica this book is made out of.
Do yourself a favour and pre-order this book, mix up a pot of tea or coffee…whatever the hell that will let you mainline some oxygen and jangling nerves… and wait for the download button to bring this wonderment into your life.
Take the day off. Read it. I’ll write you a note. Okay, maybe the note won’t do you any good but this book will.
