I listen to music as I write. Actually I drown in it. It helps. Pulls me out of my brain and the distractions so I can focus on the scene I need to create.
I’ve discovered instrumentals are apparently good for sex scenes but this one song was mingled in. I rather am fond of it.
Tj Klune updated his status:
“Hospital time is different than regular time. Anyone who has spent any length of time in a hospital can tell you that. Hours and days can go by quickly. I wasn’t even sure what day it was until I asked the nurse this morning.
Eric is having a tracheotomy performed tomorrow morning to get rid of the uncomfortable ventilation and feeding tube. All the prior films we were waiting on come in today for the neuro to review, so hopefully we can get this finished and get back to our lives.
I have been put on sleep meds as I was awake for three days straight. They help a little bit. I try and sleep during the day so if he wakes up in the middle of the night, I am there.
Without our friends and family here, and all of you out there, I don’t know what I would have done. Thank you.
Out of everything, out of all this shitstorm, I miss his voice the most. I can’t wait to hear him say “Teej” in that exasperated voice I know so well. Hopefully soon.”
From Abi Roux:As of now there is no place to send cards or gifts, and the reason for that is to lessen the number of balls that are being juggled by those of us here. But please know that comments are being read to Eric to let him know everyone loves him, and donations as gifts are incredibly helpful.
All the money that has been donated has taken care of room and board for Eric’s family to enable them to be near him for as long as they need, and it’s taken a load off everyone’s minds in a trying time. The impact of that money cannot be expressed in words, it truly cannot.
As for Eric and Tj, they are like rocks in a storm. I’ve never seen a more shining example of love and devotion, and I couldn’t be more proud to call them my friends.

A thank you from TJ.
For many of those in the M/M Romance community, Eric Arvin and TJ Klune are a familiar pair of faces. They have, in essence, shared their lives with us as they’ve met, loved and during last GRL, became engaged.
Recently, TJ moved to Virginia and Eric joined him there, setting up house and recently, drowning the state in very sweet adorable affection and with TJ in charge, Christmas decorations.
However, a couple of days ago, life handed Eric and TJ a serious curve ball and right now, Eric is spending part of his first Holiday season with TJ in the hospital. He is seriously ill and while all of us support him in spirit, we ask if you can find a few dollars to help with this wonderful man’s medical bills. They are extensive and will probably be even more so before this is done.
My prayers and best wishes are with both of them in this time. Much love to you both, guys. You deserve every bit of happiness this season and forever beyond.
