I’m not doing a huge amount of posting this week. I am.. well, there’s the Arvin family who is going through one of the toughest challenges life can throw at a person which puts things into a hell of a perspective.
Writing is happening. I’m hitting the crucial bits of Dim Sum so that’s sucking out a bit of my brain. I could use more sleep but instead I’ll probably just get more coffee. As one does.
What are your plans for this week? Mine are fairly mundane and mostly include finding my leather jacket which might still be in one of the suitcases I’d used to bring back stuff from the UK.
Just working and waiting for Christmas. Going to spend it with my son’s and niece and nephew’s families. First year in a long time for a big gathering. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.
Good plans!
Not sure if my comment went through – I am doing Christmas cards and cleaning! My son might be leaving for boot camp by the end of the week (it was an early call and still up in the air). If the orders come through, we’ll be running around to friends and family, celebrating Christmas early.
HUGS for you, Rhys.
I have posted the Arvin family’s Go Fund Me link in a few M/M groups that I am in.
Oh sounds like a huge day! And Oh I wish the best for your son. Thank you about sharing Eric’s plight. *HUGS*
Still discouraged about the presidential election but hanging in there. Getting ready for Christmas.
I received a wonderful and thoughtful reply from Eric Arvin’s for my donation:
Sandy says…
Thank you so much for your donation. Your thoughts and prayers are so appreciated. We will miss Eric beyond words, he will always be in our hearts. Thank you once more. ❤
That was very sweet ;D
Finishing getting ready for a fun Christmas with niece and nephew. Kids make it fun. And hanging out with some friends.
awwwwwwwwwww
I continue to look for a job. I am trying to catch up on email It is a never ending stream I had eye surgery and finish all the dr appts this week. I will be so glad. Busy busy. My long time friend and live in pet(17 years) died last week and I still see him everywhere. I miss him so much. He is the longest relationship I have had and the best friend. He came up to my front door and never left. He was the most beautiful Siberian Husky I ever saw and the sweetest tempered.
Someone mentioned T.J. had posted somewhere. Could anyone tell me how to get that?
Sorry to hear about your best friend. I know exactly what that’s like. Just remember all the good times you had together.
I am so so sorry for your loss.
Hugs.
TJ posted to his facebook and I think his twitter.

Eric Arvin
As some of you have probably heard by now, MM author Eric Arvin was back in the hospital recently given health issues that are unfortunately proving to be insurmountable. He will be taken off his ventilator on Monday morning and be allowed to pass peacefully.
It is devastating, to say the least. This Sunday will be three years since his whole medical nightmare began when he collapsed in our home in Virginia and had to be rushed to the hospital. Many things changed that day, but never his spirit, even when he became quadriplegic following a surgery on his brainstem to remove a tumor. He fought his hardest, and now he’ll finally be able to rest.
Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help with funeral expenses. If you can donate, please do.

Thanks.
I’m really sorry about Eric.
I hope to be writing in between saving lives and changing my lifestyle to a healthier alternative.
So, tough week, but aren’t they all.

Sadly working through December 30th across the country from home so spending Thanksgiving and the holidays on my own while my family celebrates together- not Christmas but rather the one extended time off that everyone has. But if all works out, I’ll be ringing in the new year with people I love at home in California.
In the mean time, I have my two ginger tabby babies with me. Their new trick is knocking over there trash can and running off with something they aren’t supposed to eat. They keep me occupied
Awww that sounds awesome 😀
Hmm…weather watching because it be snowing! Wish I could post a pic of our lake. Total winter wonderland! lol but it sucks to drive in, so depending on how it goes the kids winter break might start early☃️
Other then that no immediate plans.
Heh. Driving would suck. 😀
Oh yes! Cali born & raised nowhere near snow👀 Thankfully it seems to have ‘warmed’ enough so the snow is mostly gone.
Working retail seasonal job and trying to balance doing housework and writing. Oi vay! I barely have time to eat and go through my email before I have to go to bed and start over again. But, I’m at least looking forward to Christmas. 🙂 It’s all good!
Oh man, I give you so much kudos for working retail during the season. Man 😀
