Alligators are native only to the United States and China.

Why do I bring this up?

Because I kind of woke up in a pissy mood and the day didn’t seem to be working for me ever since. So I read random facts to push my brain to the side a bit.

Oh man and my coffee is too hot. We have no creamer at work. I am saddened. And I should have known better and had some back up because the coffee supplies are stocked by a non-drinker of the bean. I know… those people are odd. But instead of creamer I used a hot chocolate K-cup. Hey, it has milk in it. I just need a little bit.

It’s just been a thwarting kind of day. Nothing major to get into. Just small niggling things that add up after a few hours.

Still, I shall go forward.

What do you all do when you’re just in that mood where you skin doesn’t fit right?

    Got that thwarted feeling myself today. Finally thought my med combo is settled enough to donate blood, booked appointment, went through lengthy Q&A re the issues I thought would impact, they were all OK now, but then the stupid prolapsed heart valve means no again until they contact my GP, despite it never bothering me. I just can’t give my blood away! So I ate an eclair and drank a coke. SUGAR!!

    Got for a walk and get away from it to clear my head. I was once on this AWFUL work project and at about 3:00 every afternoon, I’d call my friend Jerry and tell him it was time for my walk so that I didn’t kill somebody! Regardless if it’s a big or small issue, just walking makes me feel better and get a better handle on things 😀

    And BOOOO to the now creamer! My coworker and I buy our own and put it in the fridge hidden in a Target bag 😉

    Every one of my clients rescheduled all over the place the other day, so I lost $300 and went shopping, contraindicated yes, but so necessary. Oh, and I read your book Sinners Gin if I am thwarted because it is my favorite escape. I grew up around San Francisco, and the book takes me back there.

    Walking cures all evils!!! Always have my trusty companion “iPod” with me!! Listen to my music or an audio book and just forget for a while.

    Depending on the time of day I’ll either grab an audio book or load up my favorite playlist and just walk. If walking isn’t an option a long shower or a soak in the bath with my favorite Cyprus and lavender bath salts works. But walking is always the best.

  6. I woke up feeling like that. I did not want to adult! I think I just grumble through it mostly until it gets better. If possible, I work in the yard. Yard work helps mellow me out pretty much every time. I am going to re-pot some things today and plant some fall flowers. Hopefully that will do the trick. I hope your day has gotten better. p.s. I am lost without half & half for my coffee.

    I either bake something seriously chocolatey and wallow in it or hide under a blanket on the couch with a purring cat or two. Yesterday was a hide on the couch day. Today life is good.

  8. I read a book and try and avoid people as much as possible. If I can’t do that, I just try to keep in mind that I’m just having one of those days and try not to allow it to effect my interactions with other people too much. I’m usually set back to rights the next day.
