The Mystery of Nevermore by C.S. Poe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely adored this book. CS Poe’s Sebastian Snow is a fantastic, well-developed character with quirks and intriguing motivations. I enjoyed his “home base” as an Antique dealer and his developing relationship with Detective Calvin Winter is going to be fantastic to watch in upcoming books. They had a great dynamic with enough push-pull to make things interesting. I really enjoyed reading this. I’m also very much looking forward to seeing what else CS Poe will be bringing to us in the future.

Fantastically great writer with gorgeous characters and a tight, nice plot. All the makings of a wonderful relationship between an author and readers.

Starting Sept 6th! Because in my head, the number 5 is stuck someplace. It’s driving me insane. BUT I’m doing serialized shorts spread over the tour. The three short pieces I’ve done are:

• The first, When Kai Fell in Love, is written a little bit after Dempsey took him in. He’s young in this section and while his Singlish isn’t great, he understands a lot of what he hears. This is two parts.
• The second, When Kai Discovers He Does Not Bounce, is when he’s about in his early teens(ish) and he’s on a disaster of a hunt with Dempsey. This is in four parts.
• The third, That Time Kai Rescued A Shoe, is a few months after Dempsey retired and he’s moved into his warehouse in San Diego. This is in three parts.

Please remember, due to Audible’s contractual stipulations, an audiobook cannot be started prior to the book’s submission to Amazon so I can’t tell you when it will be released on audio. It has been edited to show the rescue of a woman and her children during a gun battle with her husband. The entire video can be seen on other channels but I’m only posting the edited version for brevity’s sake. The full video can be found here.
