And on Live Aid day , they were! I remember it very well as I was at a party for Live Aid and the concert was on all the tv’s in the house, with speakers in the garden too..volume right up! we were all singing along with Freddie…..he really made you feel included in all his performances anyway, but on that day he was King, I’ve forgotten most of that concert, but not Freddie.
Later on in the evening it rained and we were all dancing in the rain (a bit drunk) it was a great day.
Saw Queen in concert when they were at their height, ( showing my age here 😁 ).They were superb and the interaction between Freddy Mercury and the crowd was amazing. Definitely one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. His voice was incredible.
Well I am really really jealous…….I never did see a concert of his and they had one in Los Angles and it would have been so easy for me to go…My brother did go see it….I have no idea where I was at the time….He is also a complete fan, still today…..We lost a great one in Freddy…..
I never got to see Freddie in concert and that makes me sad. He had an awesome voice and Queen is still some of my favorite go to “for a pick me up” music.
