Tonight’s Dinner: Japanese Beef Curry

Japanese beef curry and rice. Now I’m not one for Indian curries. I like some of the greens. And some Thai curries but really, my hands-down favourite is Japanese curry. It’s what I grew up with and well, it’s like homemade chicken soup or mac/cheese…comfort food at its finest. Well in our house anyway. *grins*

Surely you can give us a recipe for this one? It looks lip smacking delicious.

    1. Um…. It’s just curry. *grins* I’ll have to make up a recipe. Or you can cheat and use Golden Curry which is pretty much the same thing as mixing your own curry.

    2. Here you go…. same response as to J. Honestly, it’s just stew meat, potatoes, carrots, onions, peas and celery… simmered in a broth with shoyu (soy sauce), salt, pepper and garlic… toss some Golden Curry blocks in (easier than mixing in curry and corn starch). Serve over rice
