Tonight’s dinner: Kalua pig and rice.
I don’t have an imu and let’s face it an entire pig would be way too much food but there are life hacks to making kalua pig.
And one way to tell if somebody is actually kama’aina or raised in a local Hawai’i household, is if they say kalua pig. If they say kalua pork then you have an imposter.

Also just remember, Hawaiian is a people with their own culture, and language, and overthrown Kingdom. A person born and raised in Hawai’i’s unique blended culture is a kama’aina.
If you are ethnically Hawaiian you’re always Hawaiian. But not everybody who is kama’aina is ethnically Hawaiian.
And stop adding shit to pineapple and calling it Hawaiian. That just pisses us off.
