Apologies…

First off, my apologies for being AWOL. I came back from the LA Times Festival of Books with the most horrific of flus and right now am kind of stumbling through life.

I am really brain dead at the moment. But I wanted to share this with you. This offer is good for ALL DSP sites and goes until April 30th!

From Elizabeth North, owner of Dreamspinner Press

Last Friday, credit card processing was shut off on our site by the underwriters of Dreamspinner Press‘s merchant account because of our content. After 10 years of business with them, we weren’t even notified. To have it reinstated, we had to justify what we sell. Our representative at Bank of America went to bat for us, or we would have had no recourse.

We won our appeal, and I’m celebrating this small victory in a much bigger fight.

Thank you for supporting us for 10 years. Our authors and readers are what make Dreamspinner Press, DSP Publications, Harmony Ink Press what we are, and we will continue to fight and celebrate with you.

A special thank you to Anne Regan, Rhys Ford, Andrew Grey, Bru Baker, Paul Richmond, and Jake Wells who were with me at the LA Times Festival of Books last weekend, hugged me, and let me rant.

What is going on? Since 2016 we kept loosing publishers. Thank goodness DSP will be ok.

  2. Thank you to Dreamspinner for your generosity and for providing readers with such wonderful stories. My heart hurts that you had to experience such a horrendous betrayal by your business associates, shame on them.

I hope you feel better soon, Rhys! Get plenty of rest and fluids!

Hope you feel better soon, Rhys! I can’t believe that business with that underwriter. They process money – not decide what we can buy with our own dollars. So glad that DSP was able to get it fixed. Maybe we should lock that underwriter in a small room with Dude after Dude has eaten some broccoli.
