The Returner is one of my absolute favorite movies of all times. I love Takeshi Kaneshiro and have a bunch of his movies. He is a pleasure to watch. Seriously talented.

Thanks for the reccs – two of them were new to me. I am such a fangirl of the Kuroshitsuji anime (and manga) but I haven’t seen the movie (didn’t know about it, tbh) however, I plan to remedy that asap! And Neko Samurai looks so fun, I might just have to watch it first. 🙂

  3. Those are all great. Have you seen any of these? Ashura The Demon Slayer, Shinobi, Red Shadow, Death Trance, Dororo, Aragami, Onmyoji, Battle Royal, and anything by Takashi Miiki.

    Gohatto?

( I also love the Kenshin movies…and I also love the band that sang the theme songs 🙂 )

  5. Yakuza Pride by H.J. Brues…Kenshin! Now I have to go re-read because the main character was given that as a nickname.
I wonder if it’s the same Kenshin he is named for? Great story!

lol Sorry for my ramble, but that’s what skipped thru my head🤓
The Neko Samurai looks too cute!

Will have to check out Black Butler. Only vaguely familiar with story line, but the movie looks intriguing.

I wasn’t too crazy about the Kenshin movies, but they sure were pretty to look at.

A HUGE fav of mine is The Blind Swordsman – Zatoichi. But then again, I love me some Takeshi Kitano, so there’s that as well. 🙂
