Whiskey and Wry Giveaway… Kinda.

So, we’re rounding the bend… okay, I’ve been around the bend for a while but bear with me. The bend we’re rounding is time. August 19th is the release of Whiskey and Wry, the second book in the Sinners Series. So…*rubs hands*…how about a little giveaway?

Actually, this is more than a giveaway. This will be a chance for THREE people to choose what city they’d like represented on the back of Sinner’s Gin official World Tour t-shirt. Leave a comment below… any comment…hell, it could even be related to the books… and you’ll be entered to win a chance to tell ME where Sinner’s Gin went on their first tour.

No, not a set of steak knives. The winners will also be receiving an ARC of Whiskey and Wry—three weeks or so before release. I’m not doing the math. Look. I haven’t had enough coffee and I’ve been fighting font choices the past couple of days. *grins* BUT ARC! FREE BOOK! BEFORE RELEASE!

Contest Ends July 29th at 8 am PST!

T-shirts will be available for ordering as soon as I finalize out the shop thingie. A second design of the official Tour shirt will be loaded later with the city choices on them. Since a front-and-back design is more expensive than a single side, I’ll be offering the Tour T-shirt in both styles; Front only and Front with Cities on the back. You’ll be able to choose which one you want to order.

I’m going to keep the cost of the T-shirt as low as possible. I’ll let you know official prices and where to purchase the shirts and mugs and whatever else is out there once I do a bit more research but that should be soon. Dunno if they can be on black as it’s a bit problematic. But I shall see. At the very least, maybe a dark grey. For sure white. Maybe purple? Well at least for the funky one. 😀

Don’t forget to enter so you can Determine The Tour! And get an ARC of Whiskey and Wry for your troubles!

Designs are as follows:

Official Tour Design Design Colours Fixed. When all else fails, Go OLD SCHOOL. (this will be the one with the cities option)

Finally! A resolution to the cliff-hanger!

Consider this my entry. My please-God-don’t-leave-us-hanging-in-this-one-too entry.

I am so excited about WaW, and it seems I’ve waited forever so I’m thrilled to see the finish line up ahead!

I think Sinners Gin would love to come to Europe and play a gig in my hometown of Stavanger, Norway (which is a very international city)! 🙂

Now… Sinners Gin can’t forget their southern fans down here in Savannah, GA darlin! I can see em now at our World Famous Club 1 with our fabulous Drag Queens. Y’all know we’ll ROCK DA HOUSE! Savannah! Savannah! Savannah!

  4. Johanna

Love this!! Not sure if Sinners Gin would want to tour in my tiny tiny town on the Oregon coast. 🙂

  5. Theo

The t-shirts are awesome. I want!

If it’s a world tour, they must visit Asia. I’m thinking about Singapore 💕

Ugh, I really can’t wait to read W&W. August…come fast, please

What a great idea and I cant wait for W and W don’t suppose theyd go to my village in England so I’d say London

  7. Hunt

Loved Sinner’s Gin!!! In honor of GayRomLit, Atlanta should definitely be represented on the t-shirt. (I might be a little biased since I am a Georgia native!) I’m so looking forward to Whisky and Wry; I’ll buy it even if I don’t win it. 🙂

This is me throwing my hat into the ring. I love your writing…I’d read the phone book if you penned it. I think the band should play New Jersey. We’re rabid fans. Just ask Bruce Springsteen.

  9. Trix

Oh, fantastic! I’d have to chime in with Santa Cruz, CA–a town overflowing with bands and venues, even with its small size. *Loving* your blog these days, though I want to find the mystical land where all your glorious photoboys come from and move there permanently…

  10. Please bring Sinner’s Gin to Sydney, Australia as we would all be too far away to easily see them perform anywhere else! Thank so much from Sinner’s Gin #1 fangirl.

Finally WaW is almost here. I’ve got two citys cant decide between them Tokyo and Dallas.

  12. It won’t be a city, but there is a corner of “no man’s land” that could always use a bit of publicity…. if not it’s going to be a very expensive piece of scrap metal…

I admit to being very leery of the next book… I’m not admitting to the number of times I’ve read Sinner’s Gin… love that book… but I dread the way it ends and it’s not my fave plot line but… I’m jumping in regardless.

Officially have my excuse to reread the first book now. Self-indulgence disguised as the pursuit of continuity!

Soooo excited for W&W, please count me in. Sinner’s Gin should do a Canadian tour as well with stops in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver…eh! 😉

  15. Renee

Count me in too! I’m so excited – W&W is going to be on my kindle while I’m on vacation at the beach – I can’t wait!! 🙂

I love it! I really can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen. If possible I’d like to enter Minneapolis! Now then Aug 19 hurry up!

You need to come to Scotland, the home of whiskey. Strong, smooth…… and as I live at Montrave, nr St Andrews, Fife you should come see me. Consider me entered 😀

  19. I nominate Orlando…yes, Orlando. Right in the middle of The Golden Buckle on the Bible Belt, it’s (according to The Advocate) the 4th Gayest City in America. They could come for the Fringe Festival, self-described as “A 14-day-festival that is founded on the concept of offering 100% unjuried, 100% uncensored, 100% accessible theatre, music, dance, and art to all types and ages where 100% of the box office ticket sales go directly back to the artists within The Fringe.”

And let us not forget Disney’s Gay Days, where 160,000 GLBTs descend for a long weekend of Zip-i-dee-doo-dah and leave with smiles where the sun don’t shine and glitter in their underwear. The music is non stop and there are plenty of slots for hot bands and lots of room for straight people who love to crank it up.

Or, after a rousing headliner set at the Hard Rock or House of Blues, the boys can head on over to an Orlando institution, The Parliament House, a non-stop cornucopia of hot boys on the dance floor, gorgeous drag queens galore, and The Footlight Players, who produce and perform plays so damn good, several of them have gone off Broadway. http://www.parliamenthouse.com

If they do come to O-Town, I want a backstage pass.

  20. Louise

I am so looking forward to this book. May have to read Sinner’s Gin for a 4th time as a refresher. 😀 Hmm, where to choose? I live near San Francisco but hail from across the pond. One of my favorite concerts ever was eek, 24 years ago at Exeter University in the south of England. I could see them kicking it there! 😀

  21. Carolyn

I adore that we’ll be able to buy some merch from the band. Right now I’m eyeballing that funky design.

GREAT giveaway, too, Rhys! Thanks for the chance at it.

  22. Amanda Seal

Due to the suspicious lack of K-pop (TVXQ I want to see them live soooo bad) in Oklahoma I am making a pass for Oklahoma City! Sinner’s Gin may having nothing to do with K-Pop but it does involve a Miki and I would totally ogle at him too.

  23. Angel

Well we were good enough for Metallica and Bon Jovi and a whole slew of others, so the guys better do an event in Johannesburg, South Africa.

  24. Alicia

Eureka, California, baby!! Oh yeah! Please come up our way, we may be small, but we know how to rock.

  25. Sadonna

Oh oh oh! Pick me! Pick me! Just kidding 🙂 Well you know I love my sweet home Chicago – home of the Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks 😀 A concert in the United Center is something to behold when the Hawks aren’t in town.

  26. the sweed

Very much looking forward to W a W (but I already pre-ordered it so I don’t want to win it) the tour though, I think they should have visited Sweden, but not the southern parts, I’m thinking Umeå!

  27. Rachael

I absolutely can’t wait for this sequel! Buffalo, NY would totally welcome a Sinner’s Gin tour!

  28. Jane wilkinson

So excited for WaW I think Sinners Gin definitely played at the Riverside venue in Newcastle, UK (Geordie Land)

    Conwy, Wales

I’ve already preordered the book, just wanted to add my favorite place in the world to the list.

  31. Sandra

First stop, Los Angeles. Keep em rolling eastbound and hit Charlotte, and don’t forget New York. And since it’s world wide, they’d have to stop in Tokyo as well. Of course, Europe, can’t forget them. Would love to read your W & W’s!!!

  32. Why I have not seen this earlier? Does if have to be a city in the states? Anything stopping the boys going international?
