I have to share this. Again. Still.
Because it’s a rubber chicken!

Nice. Kudos to the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.
I hope to post the screaming camel of happiness sometime this week. Who would have thought I’d be so happen to see a yodeling camel?
Spring has hit San Diego. Well sort of Spring-Winter in that we get rain and then some hot days and then some cold days and then more rain. We certainly need it.
I’ll be finalizing out the London and Paris trip in March. There’s going to be a London meetup, probably near Kings Cross… okay not probably. RIGHT near Kings Cross so it’ll be easy for people to find. That date will be March 22nd and it’ll be in the early evening. Probably around 6:30 or 7. TA Moore and I will both be there as well as a few readers. If you’d like to come, please RSVP when the announcement goes out.
Then off to Paris. Much fun! *grins*
That’s pretty much my focus for the time being. That and books. What’s going on with everyone else? I’m hoping to get Dim Sum Asylum wrapped up so I can start Tramps and Thieves. Going to love writing Rook and Dante again.
*hands you tissues before the video starts*
How the Hawaiian Humane Society said farewell to the last dog adopted out in their “Clear The Shelter” Drive.
This is a no-kill shelter and every effort is made by the facilities to find every animal a loving and attentive home. Most of my animals come from shelters but I do have a purebred Cairn who was an “Unadoptable”. Yoshi, the black and white cat on my avatar, showed up on our rooftop one day and well, moved in ala Dude. I urge all of you who are considering a pet, adopt one from the animal shelter or reach out to a breed rescue. There are thousands of really good, sweet souls out there who need a good home.
And as always, help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered.
If you are able to, come see me in Paris Book Fair on Saturday, March 25 from 12 to 2 pm. I will be signing whatever people put in front of me that hopefully has my name on it. *grins* I will be joined by TA Moore. Charlie Cochet will be signing her books a little bit later that afternoon. I will share the full signing schedule once I have it.So I am back home. It was a lovely time spent with Mary and the Calmes clan. Or at least in my head. Mostly it was a lot of cooking, a lot of writing, some coffee and a few board games. New Year’s Eve was spent on a ten minute bet which I won and was owed Starbucks. I may or may not have taunted the loser and did a happy dance in the kitchen.
Perhaps.
So that was the start of my year.
I came home to discover the dog missed me muchly and the cat has just shoved herself against me so tightly I can feel her heartbeat on my skin. It’s rainy and well, the back yard looks like a swamp. It’s that wet and cold outside.
BUT we don’t have snow.
Rounding down the final chapters of Dim Sum Aslyum so that’s kind of nice. I can’t wait to see the cover for it. Soooo excited. After that, well… I’m going to take a good hard look at what I want to write next. Because right now, I’m writing for 3Q 2017. I’m almost finished with 2017’s books. Isn’t that a bit crazy? But that’s how it goes.
What’s up with all of you? Are you having fun in this first week of the year? I’m going to catch up on Goblin since I’m a couple of episodes behind. I have a few new books to read: Chosen Pride by Mary Calmes and So This is Christmas by Josh Lanyon.
What are you reading? And what are you looking forward to read? Share. Inquiring minds and all of that. *grins*
