I am going to make a determined effort to remove myself from Twitter as a main posting platform and use BlueSky instead. As well? I am in flux like so many of us so we’ll see where life takes me. Just building the space there so it’ll take me a bit to get the ground under me.
If you want to follow me there, you can find me at…

Having a late dinner tonight of Spam and rice. Weather’s been flexing its mean and man, the migraines are real. I do not recommend them.
How is everyone doing? What good thing has happened to you in the past couple of weeks? Share some happy!
Hello, Rhys, I recommend a purring feline on your knees and if you have a migraine a coldpack on your head and an audiobook so you can close your eyes. Sharing some happy: every day I can add to my post-cancer-treatment countdown (less than 1 year to go with the pesky kinase-blockers that keep me floating just slightly above neutropenia) without problems I count as a win. I can sing in the choir again and just yesterday I had the honour ton participate in an early-baroque music project with really good soloists and instrumentalists which was an absolute highlight. It was amazing to share a pizza afterwards with those artists who were surprisingly “normal” and really friendly young people despite being such renowned musicians on stage. Plus I enjoy knitting/crocheting and am currently working on 2 projects for Xmas for my children which are looking like I will reach the finishing line (literally) before Xmas. What more: I hope my peppercake batter in the basement doesn
t grow mould before baking day (I have a gluten-free adaptation of a traditional recipe that needs 4 weeks of rest before baking). And there is more music in Advent to come, plus I am lucky to be able to participate in the traditional nativity play again- it is called Oberuferer Christgeburtsspiel from the 18th century in an old danube-suabian dialect so none of the audience can understand it, but it works by the end-of-scene still-life-like pictures that depict the old nativity story as we know it, interspersed with slapstick comedy provided by the quartet of shepherds and a lot of singing. If you are bored you can google them, there are a couple of videos of it on you tube. I wish we had our own, because our interpretation is much livelier, thanks to our director and a well-oiled companionship of our troupe wo have been together for years. I hope I have distracted you a little bit and may be caused a little smile- take care, I do hope you will feel up to researching and writing your books (I am a staunch supporter of all things Sinnersand Crossroads Gin)- much love from across the water all the way from Germany, yours Staphysagria/TinaOh that sounds like such a lovely time you’re having of it! It sounds awesome! Heh. I have three cats who are periodic lap sitters and they rotate in and out as they desire. The migraines I have meds for because well… I was in a car accident a long time ago and cracked my face. Well, my skull across my face so the “healed over” bone gets pissy with changes in the weather. So meds and tiger balm when my face is not happy with life 😀
Ah, I am really hoping I can get some writing in before the end of the year. I feel like my brain’s awakening a bit and I’m excited to get on into the guts of all of it! xoxo
Got all the leaves raked and put into their appropriate places. What a job! Took two days and both DH and I, but it’s finished for another year. Now for winter in Minnesota – oh joy (not) LOL.
Oh god, raking leaves is like laundry
