I actually don’t have enough stars for this book or this author’s talent. If you’re going to buy one book this month… quarter…year… it would be this one. Seriously, fantastic writing, tight plot and great world building.
I can’t endorse this book enough. Well I could but I’ve got to sleep at some point.
Read the blurb, buy the book and then go head over to another Hawk book, Hainted, which I just started last night. Also a fricking incredible read.
Absolutely GORGEOUS writing. Author’s now on my autobuy list.

Just finished this one. Great read. Thank you for the recommendation. Im looking forward to this author’s future works. What other authors can you recommend, m/m or otherwise? I’ve read all of your books and all of Josh Lanyon’s. And some of Jordan Castillo Price. But I can’t seem to find any other good writers whether in m/m or m/f genre. I hate all the time I’ve wasted on sappy romances without any plot.

Um… try Charlie Cochrane’s Lessons series. ANYTHING by JL Merrow, mostly Muscling Through. Josephine Myles is incredible. Half Blind: Freelance Magic by Christine Price was great. You’ll have to forgive me, it’s 7:30 in the morning and my brain’s not working yet. I need more coffee. Oh… ZA Maxfield’s St Nacho series. Those are just off the top of my head. *nods* I’ll probably wake up later and go… OH and THIS too.
