Rhys Question! What’s your favorite easter egg for any of your characters, i.e. something you know about your characters that isn’t in any of the books.

I would really want him to talk to Rick. I can see him needing to find closure with his mother, but I would want him to be able to say goodbye to Rick. Ben is beneath consideration, but Rick. Even if it was just an “I love(d) you. I’m sorry.”
I love seeing Greg get sucked into the story while he is narrating. 🙂
I love how you did export that different in the cultures in your books.

I’m not really into PI kinda stuff. But you know, I’m gonna have to go buy the first book here… lol! Already blazed through Greg’s sci fi works. 🙂 hehe and loved Black Dog Blues. That was my first ever Audiobook!

Rhys, what is your method of coming up with ideas? Or if they just come to you, is there something you do to inspire yourself creatively? I adore you guys, I’m so impressed with both of your works!
I would love to see a pronunciation guide on your website to make sure how I say some of the names in head is right. 🙂
I’d love that as well. I am horrible at figuring out how words should sound if I’ve never heard them before. Guess that is why audio books are great when the narrator really nails it.

Tone! yes! One of the reasons why I love your books. It flows and the characters are alive. I’ve read so many books that are interesting but seem stilted because of the lack of personality given to the characters themselves. Brilliant writing and bringing them to life through narrating!
*wiping tears* for that narration
My love for reading means I listen to audiobooks while I work.
I love listening to conversations between Jae and Ichi. The Korean vs Japanese accent. It’s so impressive to listening to the switch between them, Greg!

This is so much fun. I haven’t thought much about the process of turning written characters into audio characters; it is a fascinating process. I fell in love with Montoya while listening to Murder and Mayhem (I had already fallen in love with Rook when I first read the book).
This has been delightful – I’m really enjoying the hell out of you both. Thanks for organizing this R&G. 😀
