Korean Words…or Listen to Me Botch Pronouncing Them.

Listen to me ramble for 12 minutes! Learn bad Korean! Listen to my dog bark in the background. Hear what I sound like without enough coffee and the lingering effects of GayRomLit!

I try to answer some questions about Korean words. Mostly I ramble. You will not be tested on this later and by no means are you required to use these pronunciations. Hell, if you’re pronouncing Jae as Ralph, it’s all good. *grins*

Dickens.
In case you were wondering.

That was awesome! Very helpful. I really like your voice.

Btw, I think I’m in love with Dickens. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I am so not awake right now…. really, and I have a lot of um. Engrish…not awake enough to speak!

Dickens can be a brat. Every time he goes outside, he barks… don’t know why. He’s not even barking AT anything…just barking to say he’s there.

Love the cross-cultural stuff…blending and borrowing. Thanks, Rhys. In our house we hear snips of Japanese, French, Spanish, and even German and Greetings in Arabic. It is good to have ribbons of Korean running through. What a pleasant surprise to hear how you pronounce Jae and Cole-ah.

    1. Yay! God really, I’m not awake much. I need to shake off the sleep and the small cold I have. *grins* I did a lot of that for you and hyung. *winks*

  3. Aw, ::smooshes:: it’s so great to hear your voice! ๐Ÿ˜€ And guess what? I was mispronouncing pretty much everything. Go me! Heh.

    1. You and I only need to pronounce ONE word right and that is… COFFEE!

And I’d figured you’d be sick of my voice after this past weekend.

      1. C-c-c-coffeeeee! That one I have down-pat. ๐Ÿ˜€

No way! I miss you. ๐Ÿ™ I had so much fun but think that, yeah, I’m glad that event is only a once a year deal. I’m still fried from it. ^_^

And the longer I’m home, the more I’m realizing I ought to have taken a list of people I wanted to meet. I missed some. ๐Ÿ˜›
